- When should I get tested?
If you have abnormal Complete Blood Count (CBC) results or to monitor diagnosed anemia; although, it is important to take proactive action if you experience any of the following signs or symptoms relating to an iron imbalance:

Iron is a mineral found in foods such as, dark green, leafy vegetables, beans, eggs, chicken, seafood, and whole grains. Once iron enters the body, the protein, tranferrin, carries iron throughout the blood stream.
